The 1st Tech DD has been released! 

Over the summer, the CRIT team has delivered the first Technology Due Diligence to KoalaLifter, an EU-funded Spanish startup that created a disruptive craneless system to mount wind turbines!

What is the added value of having a TechDD? It can be used directly to identify new areas of growth and possible gaps to be addressed by future R&D activities, as well as providing an independent and reliable evaluation of the technological value of an innovation for interested investors.

IR Prize 2022: who is the most disruptive innovator in Europe?

On 15^th November, this years’ edition of the Innovation Radar Prize will take place online. 12 finalists will pitch their ideas to gather their spot on the top of Europe. Besides the Grand Prix, three other innovators will be awarded for specific categories. The Innovation Radar Committee has pre-selected 2,000+ innovations to apply for the Prize.

News from the Matchmaking Platform

New feature: Dealroom Signal

If you registered at Dealflow.eu’s matchmaking platform, you should know by now about the Signal feature: an algorithm calibrated to find companies showing strong traction that are to be lining up for funding events or that are round-ready. Your ranking depends on growth, hiring, timing, and team composition.  Explore this and other innovative features 

New and more IR Innovations imported

Our strong collaboration with the Innovation Radar is continuously growing. We have imported 1,800+ new innovations from the Innovation Radar database into our platform and released a new design for them.

The platform is regularly being improved to match your needs. You may notice that the innovations page headers have been recently redesigned, and we added a market maturity indicator.

In the upcoming months, it will be possible to update your innovation page. Our team is also working on a new feature to implement extended research on patents data for key innovators. Stay tuned!

The Innovation Radar Platform, now with a more-user friendly design and a bigger database.

The IR quietly released a new logo and leaner branding, promising more improvements soon. Check it out here.

The platform is very close to the 10K milestone, hosting now 9776 EU-funded innovations, after 276 new additions.

The Europe Startup Nations Alliance is ready to start its operations after receiving a 1M€ grant from the Horizon Europe programme.

ESNA aims to support EU countries in achieving the EU Startup Nations Standard, a new benchmark for ensuring access to a growth friendly regulatory environment.

ESNA was launched at last year’s Web Summit and incorporated in December 2021. The website is now live and the new Interim Manager, Arthur Jordão, will kick-start all operations and recruit a Board of Directors.
